This shows how much fail I am. This was supposed to be a list of my top five slash-orientated OTPs. How a list ended up to be a drabble! fest, I don't know. Ask my brain.
The first two drabbles are vague and no names are mentioned, but if you know me and my preferences, then it shouldn't be *too* hard to guess who I'm talking about.Besides, the tags do offer a clue!
I was going to post pictures for each drabble, but I think that's kind of annoying?

The sheer combination of mind-screw, wanting so desperately to outwit the other and the relentless determination that you both show in this deadly cat and mouse game is enough to make all of this interesting. But what makes this intense and thrilling is the fact that they you both enjoy the chase, giving it your all to win. No matter what the cost.
You won't stop until one of you drops dead. Until then you'll dance, dance.
Still, underneath all the mind games and trickery – you both relate to each other on a level that no one else can understand. And, because you understand each other so well, you are perfect rivals.

You know it's going to end up badly, yet you can't tear your eyes away from the fact that – beyond the deceit and inevitable tragedy- you are perfect for each other. Even if in a completely twisted and wrong way.
Because even if it's wrong and perverse, there's something fated about you two. Moreover, the love – even if it's desperate on the one hand and twisted as well as selfish on the other – is real. And heart-breakingly beautiful.

The unwavering devotion that Naruto shows in his pursuit of Sasuke is something that makes you either admire or deem him foolish; the desire to be acknowledged by Sasuke runs so deeply in his veins that it's something he's built his entire existence on.
Sasuke might not be worth it, but yet it can't be denied that he's the driving purpose for Naruto. And, as such, he's special and important.
(and nothing else matters)
For Guts, Griffith is someone he admired a lot once. So much that wanted to change for him – so that he could become someone worthy of being called Griffith's friend.
Guts never knew how much Griffith needed him, didn't know that Griffith was lost without him and that he already was precious.
Didn't know until it was too late and the wheels of fate had already begun to turn.

At first, he thinks Vash is an idiot. Wolfwood doesn't have time for speeches about love and peace; he'd rather just get the job done (shoot and be gone).
But, as the saying goes, things aren't the way they seem. And, all too soon, Wolfwood realises that Vash's smiles are so fake it hurts and that his eyes show nothing but a world of pain. For every life he's tried to save, Vash's earned nothing but one more scar on his already heavily-scarred chest.
And yet, Vash refuses to kill.
Maybe he's getting sentimental, but he wants to protect Vash – from himself, from getting hurt yet again. There's no way this pacifist crap is good.
Yet, the longer he hangs around Vash, the more he realises that, damn, maybe that idiot might have a point, after all. And that's what scares Wolfwood the most. Maybe it's not Vash who needs to be saved.
